Policies and Tuition

• Private Instruction:

  • One-on-one lessons are scheduled at a mutually agreed time between teacher and student.

  • Lessons are available in 30-minute, 45-minute, or 1-hour slots.

  • Lesson duration is based upon the students abilities and may increase as the student progresses musically.

  • Parents of younger children may sit in on lessons to help their child practice at home, until teacher decides it’s no longer helpful.

• Recitals/Performances:

  • Students are given the opportunity to perform at annual recitals.

  • Students are introduced to opportunities for local and state competitions throughout the year.

• Choice of Teacher:

  • All instructors at RMC are qualified with varying education and experience.

  • Every effort is made to match students with appropriate teachers based on ability and interest.

  • If the student feels the teacher isn’t a good match, the office will try to schedule with another teacher,

    subject to availability.

• Lesson Cancellations:

  • Consistent attendance is vital for musical development.

  • If unable to attend, please let the RMC office know in advance.

  • One missed or canceled lesson will be made up each quarter.

  • Subsequent cancellations may be made up if the teacher's schedule allows but are not guaranteed.

  • If a student does not attend the lesson and does not cancel with the office prior to the beginning of the lesson, there will be no makeup time provided.

• Tuition:

  • Full tuition is due before the first lesson of every month, with no exceptions.

  • Discounts are available for multi-month prepaid tuition. Contact us for details.
